Product Description
Intended Use
The Ractopamine / Salbutamol / Clenbuterol Rapid Test Cassette is a rapid lateral flow immunoassay designed for the qualitative detection of beta-agonist residues (ractopamine, salbutamol, and clenbuterol) in meat and tissue samples. It is intended for preliminary safety screening to detect illegal feed additives in livestock.
Product Overview
-
Product Name: Ractopamine / Salbutamol / Clenbuterol Rapid Test Cassette
-
Target Analyte: Meat / Tissue (Ractopamine / Salbutamol / Clenbuterol)
-
Application: Rapid onsite screening of beta-agonist residues in animal tissue.
Test Procedure
-
Sample Preparation: Take a representative tissue sample, extract it using the provided extraction buffer, and mix thoroughly.
-
Draw Sample: Use the pipette to draw the clear supernatant extract.
-
Add Sample: Transfer 2–3 drops of the sample extract into the sample well marked “S” on the test cassette.
-
Wait: Read the result at 5–10 minutes. Do not interpret results after 15 minutes.
Result Interpretation
-
Negative (Safe): Two distinct red lines appear — one in the Control region (C) and one in the Test region (T). Target residue is below the detection limit.
-
Positive (Detected): Only one red line appears in the Control region (C); no line appears in the Test region (T). Target residue meets or exceeds the detection threshold.
-
Invalid: No line appears in the Control region (C). Discard and retest with a new cassette.
