Intended Use

The Lead (Dairy) Test Cassette is a rapid lateral flow immunoassay designed for the qualitative detection of lead ions (Pb) in fresh dairy products and liquid milk samples. It is intended for DIY at-home screening and quality checking to determine whether lead concentration exceeds the detection limit of ppb. This product is for preliminary safety screening purposes only.

Kit Components

• 1 × Test Cassette

• 1 × Pipette

• 1 × Micro Vial with Reagent / Sample Cup

• 1 × Desiccant Pack

Test Procedure

1. Sample Collection: Collect the fresh dairy or milk sample into the provided micro vial/sample cup containing reagent. Mix thoroughly.

2. Draw Sample: Use the pipette to draw the mixed liquid sample from the vial.

3. Add Sample: Transfer 2–3 drops of the liquid sample into the sample well marked “S” on the test cassette.

4. Wait: Allow the cassette to sit undisturbed at room temperature for 5–10 minutes.

Result Interpretation

• Negative (Safe): Two distinct red lines appear — one in the Control region (C) and one in the Test region (T). Lead concentration is below $3\text{ ppb}$.

• Positive (Lead Detected): Only one red line appears in the Control region (C); no line appears in the Test region (T). Lead concentration meets or exceeds $3\text{ ppb}$.

• Invalid: No line appears in the Control region (C), even if a line appears in the Test region (T). Repeat the test with a new cassette.
