Product Description
Intended Use
The Paraquat Rapid Test Cassette is a lateral flow immunoassay designed for the rapid qualitative detection of paraquat residues in tissue samples (such as agricultural products or food samples). It is intended for preliminary safety screening to detect pesticide contamination.
Product Overview
-
Product Name: Paraquat Rapid Test Cassette
-
Target Analyte: Tissue (Paraquat)
-
Application: Rapid onsite screening of pesticide residue in agricultural and food tissues.
Test Procedure
-
Sample Preparation: Take a representative tissue sample, homogenize or extract it using the provided buffer solution, and mix thoroughly.
-
Draw Sample: Use the pipette to draw the prepared liquid extract.
-
Add Sample: Transfer 2–3 drops of the sample extract into the sample well marked “S” on the test cassette.
-
Wait: Read the result at 5–10 minutes. Do not interpret results after 15 minutes.
Result Interpretation
-
Negative (Safe): Two distinct red lines appear — one in the Control region (C) and one in the Test region (T). Paraquat residue is below the detection limit.
-
Positive (Detected): Only one red line appears in the Control region (C); no line appears in the Test region (T). Paraquat residue meets or exceeds the detection threshold.
-
Invalid: No line appears in the Control region (C). Discard and retest with a new cassette.
