1. INTENDED USE

The Canine Intestinal Triad Rapid Test is a multiplex fluorescence immunoassay designed for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of three critical canine enteric pathogens in fecal samples:

• Canine Parvovirus (CPV) antigen
• Canine Coronavirus (CCV) antigen
• Giardia (GIA) antigen

This test provides veterinarians with:

• Rapid differential diagnosis of viral vs. parasitic enteritis
• Early outbreak identification in kennels/shelters
• Therapeutic guidance (e.g., antiviral vs. antiparasitic treatment)
• Monitoring of treatment efficacy

2. TEST PRINCIPLE

The test utilizes multiplexed sandwich fluorescence immunoassay technology:

1. Pathogen Capture:

• Fecal sample extracts flow through test strips containing three distinct zones:
  • CPV zone: Coated with anti-CPV monoclonal antibodies
  • CCV zone: Coated with anti-CCV monoclonal antibodies
  • GIA zone: Coated with anti-Giardia cyst wall protein antibodies

2. Signal Generation:

• Fluorescent nanobeads conjugated with:
  • Anti-CPV detector antibodies (λex/em 520/550nm)
  • Anti-CCV detector antibodies (λex/em 620/650nm)
  • Anti-GIA detector antibodies (λex/em 690/720nm)

3. Quantitative Detection:

• A portable multi-channel fluorescence reader:
  • Measures pathogen-specific signals at respective wavelengths
  • Provides semi-quantitative results (+/++/+++) within 15 minutes
  • Detection limits:
    • CPV: ≥3.2 ng/mL
    • CCV: ≥5.0 ng/mL
    • GIA: ≥8 cysts/μL
