Product Description
- INTENDED USE
The CCV Ag Rapid Test is a fluorescence-based immunoassay designed for the qualitative detection of Canine Coronavirus Antigen in canine fecal samples. This test provides veterinarians and pet owners with:
- Early screening for CCV infection in dogs with diarrhea or vomiting
- Differential diagnosis of viral enteritis (alongside CPV, CDV testing)
- Ken4nel/cattery management to identify and isolate infected animals
Note: For veterinary diagnostic use only. Clinical symptoms should be correlated with test results.
- TEST PRINCIPLE
The test utilizes a sandwich fluorescence immunoassay methodology:
- Sample Application: Fecal suspension is added to the test device, releasing CCV antigens
- Antigen-Antibody Binding:
- CCV antigens bind to anti-CCV monoclonal antibodies conjugated with fluorescent nanoparticles
- The complex migrates to react with immobilized anti-CCV antibodies at the test line
- Signal Generation:
- Accumulation of fluorescent complexes produces a measurable signal
- The portable reader detects fluorescence intensity at 620nm within 5-8 minutes
Key Features:
- High Sensitivity: Detects as low as 1×10³ TCID50/mL
- No Prozone Effect: Accurate across high/low viral loads
- Stable Results: Fluorescent signal remains readable for 48 hours
*Best performance with fresh fecal samples (<24h). Store test devices at 2-30°C.*
