Product Description
- INTENDED USE
The Canine Triple Antibody Rapid Test is a multiplex fluorescence immunoassay designed for simultaneous detection and semi-quantitative measurement of protective antibodies against three critical canine diseases:
- Infectious Canine Hepatitis (ICH)
- Canine Parvovirus (CPV)
- Canine Distemper Virus (CDV)
This test assists veterinarians in:
- Vaccination status assessment (evaluating antibody levels post-vaccination)
- Disease management (identifying susceptible animals in outbreak situations)
- Breeding colony health monitoring
- Pre-surgical/travel health screening
Note: For veterinary use only. Does not differentiate between vaccine-induced and natural infection antibodies.
- TEST PRINCIPLE
The test utilizes multiplex fluorescence immunochromatography:
- Triplex Test Strip: Contains three separate detection lines coated with:
- ICH virus-like particles (VLPs)
- CPV VP2 antigen
- CDV nucleocapsid protein
- Fluorescent Conjugate: Serum antibodies bind to:
- Disease-specific antigens on the strip
- Fluorescent anti-canine IgG conjugates (quantitative detection)
- Reading Method:
- A portable reader measures line-specific fluorescence at:
- 680nm (ICH)
- 720nm (CPV)
- 610nm (CDV)
- Results interpreted as:
- Negative (<50% reference level)
- Low-positive (50-80%)
- Protective (>80%)
- A portable reader measures line-specific fluorescence at:
Key Features:
- 15-minute procedure with 5μL serum/plasma
- Cross-reactivity <0.1% between targets
- Stable at 2-30°C (no cold chain required)
Includes internal control line. Refer to species-specific cutoff values in the package insert.
