Product Description

INTENDED USE

The Porcine Coronavirus antigen Rapid Test Device is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Coronavirus antigen to Porcine in porcine feces.

Introduction

The Porcine Coronavirus antigen Rapid Test Device is a qualitative, membrane based immunoassay based on double antigen sandwich format for the detection of Coronavirus antigen to Porcine in feces. The membrane is pre-coated with recombinant Coronavirus antobody. During testing, antigens to Porcine Coronavirus, if present in feces specimen react with the pre-coated Porcine Coronavirus antigen in the test strip. The mixture then migrates upward on the membrane chromatographically by capillary action and reacts with recombinant Porcine Circovirus antigens on the membrane in the test line region. If the specimen contains antigen to Porcine Coronavirus, a colored line will appear in the test line region indicating a positive result. If the specimen does not contain Porcine Coronavirus antigen, a colored line will not appear in the test line region indicating a negative result. To serve as a procedural control, a colored line will always appear in the control line region indicating that proper volume of specimen has been added and membrane wicking has occurred.
