Product Description
INTENDED USE
Canine rotavirus is highly resistant to commonly used disinfectants and can survive for months in feces. The specific symptoms of infected canine rotavirus are highly dependent on their age.
This kit detects canine rotavirus antigen in dog feces or vomit and is used for screening and auxiliary diagnosis of canine rotavirus infection.
PRINCIPLE
This product uses a rapid immunochromatographic technique for the detection of canine rotavirus antigens in canine feces or vomit. If there is CRV antigen in the sample, it will specifically bind to the recombinant protein labeled with colloidal gold to form a complex that will move along the chromatographic membrane and be captured by the CRV antibody coated on the membrane, showing a wine red line on the detection line (T). If the CRV antigen is not present in the sample, no visible line is formed at the T position. No matter the result is negative or positive, the C line should be colored, otherwise the result is invalid.
