Product Description

  1. INTENDED USE

The Veterinary LH Rapid Test is a fluorescence-based immunoassay designed for the quantitative detection of Luteinizing Hormone (LH) in canine and feline serum or plasma. This test provides veterinarians with a reliable tool to:

  • Determine optimal breeding timing by detecting the LH surge in female dogs and cats
  • Monitor reproductive cycles and diagnose reproductive disorders
  • Assist in neutering decisions by confirming gonadal status
  • Differentiate between intact and neutered animals

Note: For veterinary diagnostic use only in dogs and cats.

  1. TEST PRINCIPLE

The test utilizes a sandwich fluorescence immunoassay methodology:

  1. Capture Phase: LH in the sample binds to anti-LH antibodies immobilized on the test strip
  2. Detection Phase: A second antibody conjugated with fluorescent nanoparticles binds to the captured LH
  3. Signal Measurement: Fluorescence intensity is quantified by a portable reader, with results available in 10-15 minutes

Key Features:

  • High Sensitivity: Detects LH levels as low as 0.5 mIU/mL
  • Species-Specific: Validated for both canine and feline samples
  • Rapid Results: Enables same-cycle breeding decisions
  • Stable Fluorescent Signal: Provides consistent, quantitative results

For optimal performance, use fresh serum/plasma samples and follow manufacturer’s instructions.
