Product Description
- INTENDED USE
The Canine Parvovirus (CPV) & Coronavirus (CCV) Antigen Rapid Test is a fluorescence-based immunoassay designed for the simultaneous and differential detection of CPV and CCV antigens in canine fecal samples. This test provides veterinarians with:
- Early diagnosis of CPV (a life-threatening disease) and CCV infections
- Rapid differential detection between CPV and CCV (common causes of viral enteritis)
- Point-of-care testing capability for immediate clinical decisions
- Monitoring of disease progression and treatment efficacy
Note: For veterinary diagnostic use only. Confirmatory testing may be required for low-positive results.
- TEST PRINCIPLE
The test utilizes a dual-channel fluorescence immunoassay technology:
- Capture Phase:
- Fecal sample extracts are applied to test strips containing:
- Anti-CPV monoclonal antibodies (test line 1)
- Anti-CCV monoclonal antibodies (test line 2)
- Control line contains species-specific IgG
- Fecal sample extracts are applied to test strips containing:
- Detection Phase:
- Fluorescent nanoparticle-conjugated antibodies bind to captured antigens
- CPV and CCV antigens are detected simultaneously in separate channels
- Result Interpretation:
- A portable fluorescence reader quantifies signals at 650nm (CPV) and 520nm (CCV)
- Provides semi-quantitative results within 10 minutes
- Detection limit: ≥1.5 ng/mL for CPV; ≥2.0 ng/mL for CCV
Key Features:
✔ High sensitivity (98.2%) and specificity (99.1%) compared to conventional ELISA
✔ Dual detection eliminates cross-reactivity between CPV/CCV
✔ Stable fluorescent labels allow result documentation and re-evaluation
*Store at 2-30°C. Use fresh fecal samples (<24h) for optimal accuracy.*
