Product Description

  1. INTENDED USE

The Canine Infectious Disease Triad Antibody Rapid Test is a multiplex fluorescence immunoassay designed for the simultaneous detection of antibodies against three major canine vector-borne pathogens in canine whole blood, serum, or plasma:

  • Ehrlichia canis (EHR)
  • Borrelia burgdorferi (LYME)
  • Anaplasma phagocytophilum (ANA)

This test assists veterinarians in:

  • Screening for exposure to tick-borne diseases in endemic areas
  • Differentiating co-infections in symptomatic dogs (e.g., lethargy, lameness, fever)
  • Monitoring seroconversion post-tick exposure or during treatment

Note: For veterinary point-of-care use. Results should be interpreted in conjunction with clinical signs and additional diagnostics.

  1. TEST PRINCIPLE

The test utilizes a multiplex lateral flow fluorescence immunoassay technology:

  1. Sample Application:
    • The sample migrates via capillary action to encounter three distinct test zones, each coated with:
      • Recombinant EHR P30/P28 antigens
      • LYME OspC/OspF antigens
      • ANA P44/MSP2 antigens
  2. Antibody-Antigen Binding:
    • Pathogen-specific IgG/IgM antibodies in the sample form complexes with fluorescent nanoparticle-conjugated anti-canine IgG/M antibodies.
  3. Fluorescence Detection:
    • A portable analyzer quantifies fluorescence signals at each test line (650 nm/720 nm dual channels)
    • Provides semi-quantitative antibody index values for each pathogen within 15 minutes

Key Features:

  • Multiplex Efficiency: Single-test detection of three pathogens (saves 60% time vs. individual tests)
  • High Sensitivity: Detects antibodies as early as 10-14 days post-infection
  • Endemic Strain Coverage: Includes dominant regional antigen variants (US/EU/Asia)

*Storage: Keep at 2-30°C. Do not freeze test cassettes.*
